About BSSA

The mission, governance, and history of India's national ski and snowboard body.

Mission

Our mission is to grow winter sports in India by promoting skiing and snowboarding at all levels, nurturing talented athletes, providing access to quality coaching and training, and encouraging greater participation across the country. We are committed to creating a strong and inclusive sporting ecosystem that enables athletes to compete successfully at national and international levels.

Vision

An India where winter sports are accessible, celebrated, and competitive on the world stage — producing athletes who stand on Olympic podiums and communities where snow sport is a way of life, not a novelty.

Goals
